Paul Gadomski is the CEO of Cripps Bakeries Tasmania, a privately-owned plant bakery business which is iconic in Tasmania, its heritage dating back to 1878. Cripps produces in excess of 300,000 baked products weekly for the Tasmanian market and employees a culturally diverse workforce in excess of 200 people. He has 25 years’ experience across Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing, sales and marketing, distribution and finance.
An experienced director in both the for-profit, community clubs and education sectors, Paul was most recently President of the Kingborough Tigers Football club (AFL) in the Tasmanian State League.
Paul is married to Janet, has 3 sons Alex, Jordan and Lachlan. In 2017 Alexander passed away at the age of 21 after a 5 year battle with aplastic anaemia, followed by myelodysplasia (MDS)- both as a result of bone marrow failure.
As a result of Alex’s passing the Gadomski family has been instrumental in raising awareness around BMFS in Tasmania and have worked in conjunction with MRV to implement the Alex Gadomski Fellowship, researching into better cures for BMFS at the Menzies Centre for Medical Research in Hobart and most recently financially support through MRV a support nurse at the RHH for Tasmanian families and patients to access after they are diagnosed with a BMFS. Paul likes all things sport, doesn’t mind a round of golf and fishing. He graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of commerce and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of company directors.
