Melissa Haddad – Board Observer

Melissa Haddad joined the Board of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision as an observer through The Observership Program in 2024. Melissa Haddad is a distinguished commercial litigation lawyer at Gilbert + Tobin and has practised in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Melissa represents some of Australia’s leading companies and directors in a broad range of complex litigation matters. Melissa graduated with both a Bachelor of Law (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) from the University of Technology, Sydney.

She has received recognition for her professional achievements, including features in the Herald Sun’s ‘Young Gun Melbourne Lawyers to Watch’ and nominations for the Best Lawyers’ ‘One’s to Watch’ list.  Melissa is a volunteer academic tutor with the Little Dreamers organisation, providing education and support programs for young carers, and provides pro bono advocacy for clients that include refugees, individuals living with disabilities and a variety of not-for-profit organisations.
