Edward Kemp

Chair

Edward Kemp is the CEO of Hargo Engineering, a family-owned manufacturer of high precision and repetition components for the global aerospace, defence, automotive, security and medical sectors. He has 35 years’ experience across heavy industry and manufacturing, sales and marketing communications and finance.

An experienced non-executive director in both the for-profit and for-purpose sectors, Edward is currently a member of the advisory board of Menzies Institute for Medical Research, a member of the University of Tasmania’s Foundation Committee and on the advisory board of Trinity Capital & Advisory. He is also the creator and host of The Wide Open Road Podcast series focusing on athlete transition to life after sport.

Edward is married to Rachael, has four teenage children, keeps active and fit through all types of physical activity, is passionate about storytelling and all things sport. He graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts and has a Graduate Diploma of Marketing from Monash University.
