Maddie’s Vision supports patients living with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes and their families
As Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes are rare, many patients and families feel overwhelmed, isolated and in need of support when they receive a diagnosis and throughout treatment.
Our Tele-Support Service is the only available support for Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome patients in Australia. This comprehensive service educates and empowers patients and their families with knowledge and resources.
Our Tele-Support Service will:
- Educate patients and families on Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes and its related diseases; including diagnosis, treatments, symptom management and supportive care.
- Provide patient and family-centered support throughout the various stages of care, including long term follow up.
- Help build an understanding of how to access support from clinical specialists, including allied health care professionals.
- Connect patients and families with organisations and resources that can provide educational, social, emotional, financial, and cultural support.
- Listen, understand, and assist patients and families to feel connected and confident in navigating their journey.

The Maddie’s Vision Tele-Support Service is free, confidential, and available for anyone impacted by Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes:
- Mei Ling Yeh is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9am to 5pm AEST on 0477 884 955.
- Rachel Edwards is available Monday and Thursday from 9am to 5pm AEST on 0477 027 982.
