We are incredibly excited for the upcoming no reserve house charity auction on Saturday 26 March, raising money for Maddie’s Vision!
With Fairhaven Homes building the house, Balcon Group donating the land and many incredible suppliers and contractors on board, all proceeds raised will help us fund much-needed research into Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
We are so thankful to our incredible partners and the hundreds of people who have pulled out all the stops and overcome some epic supply chain issues to build this dream home. It’s a true labour of love.
At Maddie’s Vision, we have big ambitions in 2022, including raising $1m to fund the first-ever Australian gene therapy clinical trial for patients with inherited Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
That means this auction could potentially get us very close to funding the clinical trial — someone’s dream home could save lives!
The gorgeous 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home comes with furniture, appliances and a 12-month platinum Foxtel subscription!
“The more money we can raise on the day, the sooner we’ll be able to realise Maddie Riewoldt’s vision — that Australians diagnosed with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes get to live long, happy healthy lives,” says Elaine Montegriffo, CEO at Maddie’s Vision.
The previous auction in 2019 was hugely successful with a local couple purchasing their beautiful home in Point Cook for $736,000. We hope home buyers will dig even deeper this year and support this great cause.
The auction will take place at the property in Clyde North from 1.30pm on Saturday 26 March 2022.
From 11am-3pm, there will be a day of free family fun with face painting, food vans and more.
