Cooking for Maddie – Is Nick Riewoldt the next MasterChef?

Have you been watching Nick Riewoldt on MasterChef? He’s already the winner for us.

We are so proud he’s competing to win $100,000 for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, continuing his sister Maddie’s fight for better outcomes and cures for people with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.

And judging by his top four spot on Monday night for the “best scallop pie” Melissa Leong says she’s ever tasted, he’s in with a really good chance!

Nick told viewers that Maddie was “a big part of the motivation for coming on MasterChef because she passed away in 2015 from bone marrow failure. She was 26. She was a huge advocate for change in that space and we’ve picked up that challenge in her name.”

“I’m going to be super determined to do her proud on this show,” says Nick.

We can’t wait to see what he cooks next.

Watch Nick’s beautiful tribute to Maddie.
