June 2025
Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision is proud to announce that the inaugural Table for Change Gala has raised more than $435,000, thanks to the extraordinary generosity and support of guests, donors, sponsors and partners.
Held on Wednesday 11th June 2025 at Marvel Stadium, the event brought together philanthropic and corporate leaders, researchers, and supporters united by a common cause – to create a future where no family affected by Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes has to face an empty seat at their table. The proceeds will go directly to advancing lifesaving medical research and providing critical support services to those impacted by these devastating conditions.
The most moving moment of the night was a powerful speech by Fiona Riewoldt, speaking publicly for the first time about her family’s journey. The standing ovation that followed was a testament to the compassion, strength, and commitment shared by the community that has grown around Maddie’s legacy.

Guests also heard stories showcasing the incredible progress made by Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision’s researchers over the past decade – work that is transforming lives and offering real hope for the future.
The evening featured a curated three-course dining experience by acclaimed Culinary Director, Stephen Nairn, from Omnia Bistro and ALTIS at Marvel Stadium, and Executive Chef, Jason Staudt, from Stokehouse, with exclusive Penfolds Private Cellar Wines, Asahi premium beers, and fine spirits. Live performances by celebrated Australian talents Rob Mills and Jason Singh (Taxiride) added to the world-class experience.

The live auction brought a wave of excitement, culminating in a stunning act of generosity, with the raffle winner of the Mercedes-Benz A200 Hatch, gifting the vehicle back to the cause. This single gesture raised an additional $55,000, a moment that will always be remembered.
Nick Riewoldt, AFL great and co-founder of Maddie’s Vision, shared “The success of the Table for Change Gala is a powerful reflection of the strength of this community and the enduring impact of Maddie’s legacy. Raising over $435,000 is truly remarkable and brings us one step closer to fulfilling Maddie’s final wish – that no one affected by Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes should have to endure what she did. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support, and incredibly grateful to everyone who made this evening possible.”
Amy Coote, CEO of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, shared “The Table for Change Gala was a powerful celebration of courage, compassion, and community. The unwavering support of every guest, donor, sponsor, and partner made this event an inspiring success. Thanks to the vital funds raised, we are shaping a future where no family faces a Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome diagnosis alone – and life-changing research can thrive.”
Key guests included Nick Riewoldt and the Riewoldt family, members of the Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision Board, and high-profile supporters from Australia’s philanthropic and corporate sectors.

The event was made possible thanks to the extraordinary support of our Gala Partners – Marvel Stadium and Delaware North – along with Audio Visual, Theming and Creative Sponsors – Audio Visual Dynamics, Flock & Co and ideasbanq – Bronze Sponsor, Boutique Homes, Major Prize Sponsors, Mercedes Benz Berwick and Linen House, along with a host of prize, table and supplier sponsors who contributed to an unforgettable evening.
