Welcome to our new CEO, Amy Coote

The Board of Maddie’s Vision is delighted to introduce our new CEO, Amy Coote. Amy will be officially joining us on 15 November, and we’re excited to welcome her to the Maddie’s Vision family.

Amy is a For-Purpose executive leader, Founding Executive of one of Australia’s leading giving circles and an experienced Board Director. For more than ten years, she has held senior leadership, fundraising and development positions within the For-Purpose sector, which are preceded by over a decade of business development and project leadership roles in the professional conference and events sector. Amy is incredibly passionate about making a positive difference in the community and driving social change, and has led her teams to raise in excess of $25M for vital causes including medical research, youth mental health, cancer support, healthcare and education.

Amy is a proud Mum of two, Oliver and Mia, and loves spending quality time with family and friends. She also considers herself to be quite the foodie and equally enjoys cooking, alongside experiencing some of the best restaurants Melbourne and the world have to offer.

We’re looking forward to working with Amy to #FightLikeMaddie, so that we can continue to support patients and families with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes, and together find a cure.

In Amy’s words:

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been selected as the next CEO of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision. I consider it an absolute privilege to be able to honour Maddie and the Riewoldt family’s legacy and lead the organisation into the future. There is still so much work to do to discover improved treatments and cures for Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes, and enhance our critical support to patients and families.

Together, we have the opportunity to change the future for children and young people diagnosed with BMFS. I look forward to joining the amazing team, Board and passionate supporters of Maddie’s Vision on this journey.”
