Since Maddie’s Month started seven years ago, the campaign has raised $700,000 for vital research. Thank you to everyone who supported Maddie’s Vision by picking up a special purple pack of Flavorite tomatoes and capsicums in Coles during November.
Maddie’s Month was the brainchild of Flavorite co-founder Mark Millis. Mark battled blood cancer and understood the need for medical research to find more effective treatments. Sadly, Mark lost his battle with blood cancer in 2019, but his family proudly continue his legacy each November for Maddie’s Month.
This year we were treated to fun videos by Flavorite featuring Nick Riewoldt, Jack Riewoldt, and Farm to Fork host Michael Waldron cooking up a storm with delicious produce from the campaign! If you’re looking for new summer recipes or lunch box ideas, check out the videos on the Flavorite website.
We’d also like to thank the many patients and families who generously shared their stories in November to help spread much-needed awareness of Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
Thank you to our incredible partners at Flavorite and Coles for again helping us to #FightLikeMaddie.
