Bob Murphy

Growing up in Warragul, Victoria, Bob Murphy started playing football for Warragul, Gippsland Power and then Western Bulldogs.

Bob Murphy was drafted to the Western Bulldogs with the 13th Pick in the 1999 AFL draft.17 years and 312 games later, Murphy has gone on to be one of the most respected Bulldogs to pull on the jumper.

A two time All Australian member and captain of the club. Murphy was the ultimate team man who unfortunately missed out on the Bulldogs 2016 Premiership, due to suffering a season ending knee injury in round 4 that year.

Murphy is just as respected off the field as he is on it, with his humble nature and bubbly personality always present. Known as one of the great story tellers Murphy is now seen and heard on Fox Footy and SEN radio.
