Luke has a strong personal connection to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, having been a close team mate and friend of Maddie’s brother (MRV Chair) Nick, and by extension the Riewoldt family over the years.

This connection has grown stronger in recent times, having become a father to three girls, Violet,  Emme and baby Pippa!  

Luke grew up in a sporting mad family, and as a kid always dreamt of playing AFL footy like his heroes. He was fortunate enough to play over 200 games for the St Kilda and Collingwood Football Clubs, finishing up in 2014.

Whilst playing, Luke completed a Bachelor of Business & Commerce, at Monash University.

Having tried his hand at various media roles post retirement, Luke is currently working in a coaching and leadership role at the Essendon FC and relishing working with young, driven, curious, and most importantly, humble people in their pursuit of reaching their full potential.
