A historic day at the final Maddie’s Match – Thank you for your generosity and support!

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for the final Maddie’s Match, your support, energy, and generosity made this event truly unforgettable. The day was filled with countless special moments, with the Saints securing a spectacular victory to top it all off! The excitement was palpable, and the spirit of our community was stronger than ever.

We were honoured to host patients and families on the ground to share a moment of reflection with the Riewoldt family before the game. It was a chance to celebrate the success of Maddie’s Match, our amazing decade-long partnership with the St Kilda Football Club and the incredible legacy this event has created.

Thanks to the inspiring dedication from the St Kilda Football Club, and all of you, we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised over $62,000! We couldn’t be prouder of this achievement, and we are deeply touched by the overwhelming support we’ve received. Over the last ten years, Maddie’s Match has raised in excess of $1.2 million in total to fund vital research into Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes and provide essential support services to patients and their families.

None of this would be possible without the commitment of the phenomenal team that brings Maddie’s Match to life each year. Maddie’s Vision is profoundly grateful for the tireless work of our volunteers who go above and beyond to make a real difference. Whether you were collecting donations, selling merchandise, or helping in any other way, your contributions have had a lasting impact.  We’re extremely fortunate to have such a passionate group of supporters who are always ready to help create a brighter future for those affected by Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.

Once again, thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this day so memorable. While the game may be over, the legacy of Maddie’s Match will continue to drive lasting change and create a meaningful impact. The love and support we felt from our extraordinary community through this event will stay with us forever.
