The Gift for Gab charity walk is back this October to raise money for Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes research.
The walk is named after Gabbie, a young woman with Diamond Blackfan Anaemia, by her father Jamahl who with a friend, created the first walk five years ago. As a result of living with Diamond Blackfan Anaemia, Gabbie is blood transfusion dependent and bravely battles constant health issues as a result of related health complications.
Jamahl will again be walking 245 kms along the coast from Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay. This time he’ll be joined by a team of participants walking 35km each day to support Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome research!
