On Sunday, October 8, a vibrant crowd of over 7000 riders, ranging from families to seasoned cyclists, eagerly set off from Albert Park for Bicycle Network’s iconic United Energy Around the Bay. As the official charity partner for the event, the Maddie’s Vision team and volunteers were present at the event village, meeting the riders, taking donations, and selling merchandise and raffle tickets. Our ambassador, Brendan Fevola, took on the Family Ride and joined us at the marquee.
Thank you to everyone who fundraised, donated, or came by the Maddie’s Vision marquee to meet the team and learn more about Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. It was a day filled with excitement and a sense of purpose as riders of all levels came together for a fun day out and to support a great cause.
A huge shout out to our top fundraising team, Fulton Hogan, who raised an incredible $27,820 for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision! What an amazing effort from an extremely generous team.
Thanks to the extraordinary support we’ve received at this year’s United Energy Around the Bay, Maddie’s Vision will continue leading the fight against Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes by funding research into better treatments and cures and providing patients and families with vital support they desperately need.
