Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision is proud to announce a major milestone for Maddie’s Month — $1 million raised since the campaign began in 2016, including another $100,000 raised this November to support Australians living with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
The result marks ten years of extraordinary community generosity, brought to life through an enduring partnership with Flavorite and Coles Supermarkets, and the simple act of choosing a specially marked pack in store.
In 2015, the Riewoldt family lost their beloved daughter and sister Maddie to a Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome at just 26 years old. In her final days, Maddie asked her family to promise that nobody else would have to go through what she did. That promise became her legacy – Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
During that same year, Mark Millis, founder of leading glasshouse fresh producer Flavorite, was living with blood cancer. Inspired by his own experience and driven by a desire to give back, Mark set out to align Flavorite with a charity that reflected his values — and that could drive real change through medical research. He chose Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
That decision sparked what has become a truly remarkable partnership — one that continues today, and honours Mark’s legacy following his passing in 2019.
Since 2016, throughout November, Flavorite has run Maddie’s Month nationally — donating 15 cents from every specially marked pack of their vine-ripened Mini Toms, Mini Caps and Cherry Truss Tomatoes sold exclusively in Coles stores to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
Year after year, the campaign has raised $100,000 annually, helping fund life-saving research and expand support services for patients and families navigating Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
We were thrilled to kick off this year’s Maddie’s Month with a special launch event celebrating an extraordinary 10 years of impact — and marking the incredible $1 million milestone within reach. It was a powerful moment to bring together stakeholders from Maddie’s Vision, Coles and Flavorite alongside patients and families, to recognise what Maddie’s Month has made possible and the community driving it forward. Guests also enjoyed a beautiful menu curated by Andy Allen, showcasing Flavorite produce at its best and setting the tone for a milestone Maddie’s Month.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated partners Flavorite and Coles Supermarkets for standing with Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision year after year. Celebrating a decade of impact with you has been a true honour.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to Maddie’s Month ambassador Andy Allen for championing our cause with so much heart — and for heroing the beautiful Flavorite produce that helps Maddie’s Month shine.

A special thank you also goes to Coles Ambassador Michael Weldon for sharing culinary inspiration throughout the campaign, helping Australians make the most of Flavorite’s produce at home — and bringing extra flavour and creativity to Maddie’s Month.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who chose a specially marked pack at Coles throughout November. You have helped us achieve a milestone we could have only dreamed of a decade ago.
This $1 million milestone is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together. It represents ten years of determination and progress — funding vital research, strengthening support for patients and families, and bringing hope to Australians facing Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes.
