Gunn Family Women in Haematology Fellowship - Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre announces that clinical haematologist Dr Katherine Cummins was awarded the 2022 co funded Maddie's Vision and Snowdome Foundation fellowship for her ground-breaking work focussed on discovering a novel mechanism to overcome treatment resistance in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).

Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Genomics Health Futures Mission Grant - Federal Government awards $3M to inherited Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes research project. 

The University of Melbourne project,` entitled Diagnosis, discovery and novel phenotype characterisation using multimodal genomics in patients with inherited bone marrow failure and related disorders will be led by Maddie's Vision Grantee Dr Piers Blombery of the Molecular Haematopathology Laboratory at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and will build on from critical infrastructure, clinical trials and grants-in-aid projects funded by Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
